Why an All Natural Hand Soap Shampoo?

Natural Hand Soap Hair Shampoo

A strand of hair has a cuticle that is made up of layers of a protein called Keratin.  In turn, overlapping scales cover the cuticle.  Thus, healthy hair has scales that lie flat. However, some commercial hair shampoos strip the hair of its oils and damage the cuticles by tearing up the layered scales. The natural shampoos here do not strip the hair of its oils and doesn’t damage the cuticle and scales!

All natural hair rinse vinegar rinse solution
Natural Vinegar Rinse

If you use natural shampoos for your hair care treatment, it is vital to use a natural vinegar rinse from time to time. After working your hair with one of the conditioning shampoo bars spray all over your damp hair with citric acid or herbal vinegar rinse.  Do this before washing the rest of your body to allow the rinse to soak in. Then afterward rinse it out very briefly.  The vinegar smell will go away as the hair dries.  If you can’t stand the vinegar smell, the company offers four incredible citric scents.

You may be wondering why it is important to use a hair rinse with a natural shampoo bar regime. With a natural rinse, the acid removes scaly build-up and residue on the scalp and hair shaft. Also, it smooths the cuticles/scales causing your hair to lie flat and shine.  Additionally, the acid in the rinse restores the natural pH balance of your scalp. This helps to prevent your scalp from becoming dry and itchy.

Recollecting My First Shave

What I remember of my first shaves was my dad showing me how to create a creamy lather to apply with a shaving brush.  The warm and soothing later did make shaving easy.  In particular, is limited how many nicks and cuts I would get.

In fact, the recommended method to use this shaving soap is pretty much what my dad taught me many years ago. Starting with running hot water over the brush’s bristles, shake the brush lightly not to get rid of too much warm water. Place the brush on the soap, with a circular motion you will start getting bubbles (fairly large), and keep up the circular motion until you get a thick lather.  Then with a circular motion, apply the lather to your whiskers. The longer you whisk, the thicker the latter gets and provides greater protection for your skin. This action also causes the whiskers to soften and stand up. As a result, the razor will sit at the base of the hair follicles for a smoother shave.
