Welcome, I am a marketer online. When I attended college, my market professor highly encouraged me to get into the world of marketing as I was getting a degree in industrial management. I initially chose to serve in the Air Force and made a career out of it. I didn’t expect to get into Marketing but here I am today. To me, marketing makes things fun and exciting, especially when new products and services enhance our lives.
As I gained experience and became better at marketing, the paychecks increased in size. I remember my professor’s talks about his side marketing business. There was one weekend when I tried to contact him about the team marketing project to get some additional information. Unfortunately, we had to wait for his return the following week.
When I did contact him that following Tuesday, he said, Nick, this past weekend I was on the east coast doing marketing consultant work. Would you want to venture what value that weekend provided? I made a stab at it and was floored when he relayed how much he was paid for his 2-day consultant work (I should have listened and pursued a marketing career). Mind you, Dr. Dunbar had a lot of experience but he also loved to teach. He was a true Marketer!
Marketer Online Perks
Since getting into Marketing as a third career, it has been amazing. I have experienced amazing dinners and exceptional bottles of wine that come with it. Not to mention the locations that I have traveled to just a short period of time…Four-Star hotels, first-class flights, and resort locations that represent that you are a winning marketer!
Marketer Online: The Beginnings
In Rory’s Book “Marketing is Freedom” he shares that having Cash flow is the only “True Freedom” device that is the key to financial freedom. There is nothing like having a feeling of being free when your finances come in regardless of the time of day or your time being used to make that happen.
It’s one thing to have one steady source of cash flow but it’s a totally different world of Freedom when you have 10 or more. So, I highly recommend reading Marketing is Freedom.
