Unique Culinary Experience Favorites

Grabdma and Granddaughter enjoying a delightful quaint restaurant in Shiloh IL 20 miles East of St Louis

Looking for a culinary experience after church, we were. We wanted to treat our granddaughter to a Sunday Brunch Culinary experience close to home.  We decided to try June’s Breakfast + Patio. For a local eatery, this is a very attractive, relaxed atmosphere to sit back and enjoy a scrumptious brunch.

While the menu is not extensive, it has something for everyone.  This can be a bit of a problem for me in selecting restaurants since my wife is vegetarian and the rest of us are not. Thankfully, there were a couple of choices that checked that need for us.

Delightful Culinary Experience Setting

To me, this house converted into a restaurant is the perfect place for a single person to relax and enjoy some amazing cup of Joe.  It’s a fantastic place to enjoy a quiet place to connect with family and friends, or on a date.  I was particularly impressed with the coffee selections available. Not only that but also the artistry displayed, as you can see in the picture to the right!

Granddaughter’s Culinary Experience A++

Now my granddaughter is one of the pickiest eaters that I know.  So this was a gamble on whether she would eat anything from this place.  Thankfully, she loved the waffle strawberry but even more the chips that she ordered.

I loved the breakfast sausage sandwich. However, the breakfast potatoes were simply delicious, and they are inviting me to come back on a frequent basis just for those potatoes!  I also order the strawberry waffles with lemon risotto. No wonder my granddaughter ate every bite of her waffles; they were simply amazing!

In Summary

This house converted to a restaurant has also outdoor sitting and even a gas fire pit to enjoy the weather and a a culinary experience favorite food outside.

So, if you are traveling or looking for a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy breakfast, brunch, or lunch just 20 miles east of St. Louis, you won’t be disappointed.  In fact, I’m looking for the weather to warm up so we can enjoy the savory treats outside on the patio. Check out June’s Breakfast+ Patio the next time you are in the area. Bona Appetite!
