The Children-Activity-Center of East St Louis Fundraising Event on June 23, 202 was an awesome event that I got to participate in. This year is the 16th year of hosting a golf fundraising event for the Children’s Activity Center.
Children-Activity-Center Golf Fundraising Event
The East St Louis Children Activity Center provides services to local children, youth, and families who would otherwise receive no other support. The program provides activities and a safe and healthy after-school environment for over 500 children. It also includes a Christmas program of gifts and clothing for toddlers to teenagers. Furthermore, the Center provides Summer camps and mission trips for over 100 teenagers involved in its Christina Activity Center.
Children-Activity-Center Fundraising Options
Besides contributing funds outright to the Children’s Activity Center for this event. There were several other ways to help provide vital funds for this worthy program. First of all, supporters could sponsor a hole. As you can see to the right, this was the banner that they posted at the 15 hole that I sponsored.
To enhance participation in this the Children Activity Center Golf Fundraising event, sponsors could also donate prizes to the following 4 categories. Men and Women’s longest drive. And Men and Women closest to the pin. Since I’m a marketer, I provided premium bottles of wine to each category.
Finally, there is always a need for volunteers to provide setup and clean up for the event. Plus a myriad of other activities to make this a successful event. Such as providing and ensuring plenty of water was available for participants and vendors.
As a marketing vendor, hats off to the committee that put on this worthy event. The Children-Activity-Cente and the Stone Wolf Golf Country allowed me to showcase my business at the hole that I sponsored. To the left, you can see the setup for allowing me to let participants sample the Wine of the Month club premium wines. What was even more special, is this hole is on top of one of many hills on the course and the wind made it very pleasant to showcase the premium wines. In addition, I was able to give out free samples of our nootropic supplements. Both were appreciated by the participants in this event.
