Baby Turtle Fishing Lures

If you are seeking lures that give you more action, fish, and more strikes then check out this baby turtle fishing lures action. This lure is simply one that bass find hard to ignore!

Why Baby Turtle Fishing Lures

Baby Turtle Fishing Lures

Several fish species strike and even consume baby turtles in the wild.  Even when they are not hungry. That’s because Turtles are natural enemies of bass and other fresh and saltwater fish.  Mainly because turtles love to eat their eggs. And since these fish can’t attack adult turtles, they instinctively strike out at baby turtles as a self-defense mechanism.

Baby Turtle Lures are great for the following reasons

– Baby Turtles are natural predators for Bass eggs

– Bass are genetically programmed to strike and kill baby turtles as a defense mechanism to protect their eggs

– Bass protective instincts will cause them to strike harder and faster to protect their nest

– This lure is designed to take advantage of Bass protective instincts

In Addition Baby Turtle fishing lures have:

– Unique patented design

– Effective in both fresh and saltwater fishing

– Multifunctional Design provides flexibility for a variety of rigs and styles.

Rigging Turtle Lures

Baby Turtle Fishing Lures variety of color

You can easily rig this lure using Carolina, Drop shot, and Texas rigs. I love using this lure on ponds and small lakes.

When worms and crankbaits are slow, I switch to this lure and I’m not disappointed. I vary my retrieval speeds throughout the day.  There is nothing more exciting than to experience a lunker striking at this lure as it skitters on top of water around Lilly pads or grass and sees the splash and the sweet sound of line zinging out of the reel.  Here’s to a keeper!

I like to either use a small to medium-sized hook to fish, especially when the fish are not aggressive.  If that is the case, I cast into open waters and let the lure slowly sink then slowly retrieve the lure.

This is my favorite lure to use when Bass is spawning.  Plus, I love my fishing kayak since I can get into areas that bass boats have a difficult time navigating.  As a result, I have been able to get to spawning grounds.

In Summary

As a fisherman, it seems like you can’t have enough lures to attract fish.  But as I mentioned above, I love my fishing kayak but it does limit the amount of gear that you can carry.  So I’m very selective of the lures that I take on a trip.  As you can guess, this turtle lure is on top of my must-have lures to take!
